This Leitz 180mm f3.4 Apo-Telyt-R lens is a manual focus telephoto lens. It was the first of the apochromatically-corrected lenses released by Leica for their Apo-Telyt series. Apo-Telyt lenses contain special glass optics that ensure that red, green and blue light rays all converge at the same point (the film or digital sensor) for superior image sharpness, color and contrast. These lenses have excellent performance and image quality from center to corner. This lens has a 67mm filter thread.
This is a 3-cam lens that is compatible with the metering and exposure modes of the later R-series cameras.
